![]() Back in his good days. [The star, who was best known as La Di Da Gunner Graham in It Ain't Half Hot Mum, passed away peacefully and a private funeral will be held on August 29 in West Sussex. An announcement on Tuesday said he 'died peacefully in care' and 'will be missed by all his friends from the theatre, his friends in Chichester and his family.'] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...-BBC-star.html Last edited by arista; 20-08-2024 at 04:08 PM. |

basically how most stars we've lost, should be celebrated, watching those series, films they did shine most brightly in
it's called ''being eternal'' somehow

He was on Twitter a couple of weeks ago. Sad news.
He was on TV back when TV comedies were funny. And back then, you could say funny things that weren't taken as racist or sexist - no offence taken. ![]() |

Mr la di da gunner Graham
Rest in peace. My number one tv show that ever was broadcast. I did a British sitcom countdown on this forum that will back me up on this. Because "It ain't half hot mum" was my number 1. This show hasn't been repeated since the 1980s. It's from Croft and Perry, the same guys that wrote Dad's Army and Hi-di-hi" I love both those shows too, but "It ain't half hot mum" was for me their masterpiece. Sadly due to the PC World, you NPCs ain't allowed it. I have the boxset and would encourage any person who likes a laugh to invest in it too. Best British sitcom ever. No question about it.
