Mostly agree. This task is really exposing Dean though. He isn't Ali's dupe, I don't think.

He was playing a good game under the radar with his 'I'm just a nice guy who isn't used to being accepted' schtick, but we are starting to see him now and Ali and the spotlight of HoH is a core part of that.

This pairing is cold as ice and the others will regret deeply not removing them from the HoH pool.

I dislike both, either would have been in my targets in that breaking glass task, but I think Dean is more of an active player than people are giving him credit for. What we have seen so far isn't what Dean is, but this task is showing him up a little.

I actually think Ali noticed how Dean let her take all the damage over the fallout alone though more than she says and won't forget that going forward.

There was a bit of code going on during that exercise as it seemed like half of their mutual impressions were agreed by facial expressions more than outright saying "X is blah". Unless BB cut something substantial out. Ali led a lot with silence, imo.

I liked Dean at the start but he's coming across badly in the last 2 episodes. Suckling up to Ali which is nauseating when she's been b1tching to others about him.

Yes, I think they share a similar gameplan, if not value set, and so they didn't have to worry as much about taking what the other might say about some of the choices for granted.. was my thought. I don't know that he meant problematic that specifically, but I thought maybe it was left open intentionally to mean a myriad of things at the same time.. or the editing cut off a lot of nuance that would've provided context. I couldn't rule out the latter because that whole scene seemed rushed. And we can't know a specific meaning obviously without more clues.

I just want Ali to confront Dean over the way he has approached this because I think she has a point. It was him who put Khaled with Marcello - he was originally with Sarah. But doing that, it did make it look like there was a hidden agenda, with those two being the only friends paired together, and people would automatically assume Ali was behind it as she had had confrontations with both.
