Okay, we all have/had our favourites in this series to date. Many have dissed Tom and Segun for being too quiet yet, don’t you think production are at fault for showing so little of them in the HL episodes?
This is the only place where folk that don’t have the LF’s can form their opinions yet, the PTB have chosen to spotlight their very carefully crafted special HG’s in the best light and created the ‘lesser’ choices in the faintest possible way - thus rendering them boring.

They have, in every episode, shone the brightest lights on Ali and Lily. Now that the drooping Lily has gone, they will now make damn sure that Ali (their chosen one) will win.

The public have no access whatsoever to the final voting numbers so they know we have no way to dispute the ‘result’

A lot can happen in a week…as some leave their supporters will move to others…voting will keep opening etc etc…let’s not abandon the vote yet.

Ali may well have picked up Lilys supporters….and Deans and Martha’s (albeit probably not that many).
She is in the house with 8 others who are not flying a flag for her…as they leave their votes will go towards any of them bar Ali imo…

I’m voting Emma all the way because, I truly admire the way she has been able to mix in with the younger ones in a rather delightful manner.

Yes, she may have got near the knuckle here or there, but I accept that as good British humour coming to the fore!

You see, I’m not a ‘do gooder’ when it comes to ‘laughter’!

I do think the production team have carried Ali... Given her the highlight roles and the attractive costumes (as much as that was possible in every task), and have given her an unbelievably soft soap edit for the last 10 days to so... even to the point of giving her extended solo camera time to share her thoughts on other HMs unchallenged.

so in that sense they are to blame for where we are. You have to remember though, the producers are exactly the type of people that post on X and Reddit so will reflect that worldview in their construction of the show.

But I don't think that Sefun and Tom are the victims of the producers... I actually think that they are just this dull and were put in for reasons other than personality.

I don't think they are rigging anything, it's just that her gameplan is that effective.

She aligns herself with the weak links, enables their worst instincts by offering to hold regular pity parties for them (that appeals to their narcissistic side) and eventually they got nommed and mopped up by the viewer... remember when she was trying to get to Hanah next, she was suddenly so concerned about Hanah needing saving... and Hanah was like nope... guess who is still in the house and still getting along with others just fine?...

Even Izaaz she didn't do any favors for because he was in the middle of that Khaled drama initially when he felt he had to snitch to her and it made him look really cowardly... and it was harder for him to recover anyway since he didn't want to play the game to begin with but that pretty much ended any chance at him showing any charm and building rapport which may have made him want to stay for the experience...

I don't see it as a coincidence that she zeroes in the insecurities/worst aspects of other people and tries to pick at it like a scab. Even when she's complimenting and being friendly with the HMs, she's always farming for scabs to pick and they come up in the most seemingly innocuous ways...

The latest example: She asked Segun about the flirty behavior and triggered that drama. She later explains herself out of the main conversation and makes it an "everyone thinks this" issue (sound familiar?) and as such she backs herself up far away from the situation as possible and lets others take ownership while she sort of floats around appreciating her work. It's obvious. Not everything has to be a gameplay move, but it's certainly a side gig of hers to run around and find ways to elicit responses from people. It's hardly about getting to know them, more about finding what buttons they have and seeing what bares fruit...

@Maru I noticed this same pattern when Ali quizzed BP in the store room.

It's funny how people are saying Khaled cornered Nathan, but Nathan was free to leave in a open bedroom. And Khaled just gently asked for a discussion.

Whereas I think Ali cornered BP ,and she knew she couldn't get away....as she was sorting out laundry. Infact I think they both were sorting out their laundry. And it's a small room. And she kept phishing for answers on what will happen with BP & Nathan ,when they leave. Ali always thought they were a fake relationship.

And Lily even revealed she was talking to Ali about how it didn't look as genuine .

Her game plans have been a disaster... I don't get where this 'great game plan' for her is coming from at all.

She could have literally said "I'm gay and on one spectrum or another and look at my current thing performative protest tee" and still been in the same place without all her other botched game plans.

If anything, she survived despite her clumsy attempts at game-playing.

She was carried by being a cause on X and Reddit. That's it, that's all.
