…a bit more of a solemn and less of a ‘jolly’ Christmas song …because Christmas is not a ‘jolly time’ for everyone…it’s one I love anyway…because it’s very thought provoking…

which in Germany they also use as one of the songs for Die Passion (The Passion) around Easter, to sing about Jesus



and considering christmas is about the birth of jesus, this is a fitting tune, considering Jesus is quite the fenomenon for christians, catholics
