[The man who drove a truck into a crowd
of New Year's revelers in
New Orleans' French Quarter, killing 10,
has been identified as
42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabbar, a US citizen.

The Ford electric vehicle was owned by
another 42-year-old man from Houston, Texas.
The truck had reportedly been rented
out on Turo, and police are in contact
with the owner who listed it for rent.

The gunman was killed by police after
he slammed a truck into pedestrians
celebrating the New Year,
exited the vehicle, and started firing.]

Jabbar had what appeared to be an Islamic caliphate flag — similar to an ISIS flag — on the truck at the time of the attack, sources said.

Man I just do not trust anything any authorities say anymore. I need to see the body! As grim as that sounds. Being an Isis inspired attack would just be a bit too convenient at the moment
