The OP is asking what we thought of the sign, not whether we were triggered by it. I wouldn't give it much thought if it were put up in my neighborhood except "That's odd" and wondering what circumstances caused it... but since we were asked, it's now an Art Critique

My honest opinion is that it strikes me as someone that wants to be seen as a good person a little too much.

Imo, genuinely nice people just naturally do nice things, I get flabbergasted whenever I see these people irl.
