In order to stop the hack, Co-op told Sky News it took "proactive steps" that "resulted in a small impact to some of our back office and call centre services". Co-op's shops and funeral homes are trading as usual and Co-op members and customers are not being asked "to do anything differently at this point", said a spokesperson.
