Hahaha. I think it’ll be a good round to be fair. Even if you’re not a fan, there’s defo plenty of options to go with as it’s been running since the 50s.

…I think that’s the main thing for me, having a very wide choice and not keeping it too niche …keep those options and choices wide and open…

…ahhh, ok I understand…for me it’s ok, similar to what Ben has said in that it’s absolutely not the worst but still not an entry to feel excited and hopeful about, which we are capable of but just don’t seem to really try hard enough to showcase…

Yeah, it’s no Sam Ryder. I think it’ll end up finishing around 17th-21st.

To be honest I think at this point even if we sent Adele to eirovision we would still end up near the bottom it's all about politics. The entry for us isn't terrible we have had worse but it's definitely not gonna score many points

I think we’re ok now. Sam Ryder proved that when we sent an actual good song. I don’t think politics plays too much into our position now, we just send awful choices that even the UK themselves hate, but we oddly expect Europe to love.

…there are political aspects obviously also, that’s so true…but it doesn’t dismiss that compared to other entries, ours on the whole are fairly dismal and until we actually produce and enter a real contender/standout…?…we won’t know how highly the political aspect figures and factors into it because atm, we can rarely say…well ours was excellent, what the heck…!!!!!…you know…?…Sam Ryder did move up on the excellent scale and it was a good year for us….so I think that we have to stop looking at political and start looking at our song quality…

…thank you……I have to say that I did find this round tricky in that many songs are listed as duets but are also listed as collabs or feats so that made it quite challenging…

I didnt mind features as such anyway as long as it was featuring another big famous singer. A lot of songs that say ft are a duet anyway it was when the featured artist wasn't famous that was the issue

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the one year we do well in over a decade is the year the uk is the leading public defender of Ukraine after they were invaded, even less of a coincidence that we were only beaten by Ukraine after they were invaded, it was most definitely politically motivated that year, more obviously than ever

I don’t think most of Europe would have cared or not about us regarding that, apart from Ukraine possibly. It was actually a good song and great staging. Proven by the year after when we hosted for them we did terribly.

It was a good song, but it wouldn’t have done nearly as well if it was sent that year in particular
