apparently Spielberg wanted the tributes for him removed from this film, but Gareth Edwards ignored that, and they are still in the film
those tributes are similar-ish scenes to Jaws, the boat scenes more specifically, with Scarlett shooting at the Mosasaurus to tranq it, so they can get a dna sample
