Default USA to Destroy 500 tons of Emergency Food costing $100,000

Was just on CNN HD USA on UK TV

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/07/16/p...er-funded-food

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/...royed-official

[The United States is set to destroy nearly
500 metric tons of US-taxpayer funded emergency food
meant for starving people around the world.

The high-energy, nutrient-dense biscuits
have been sitting for months in a warehouse
in Dubai, according to a former USAID official.
Now, because they expire this month,
they will have to be destroyed – at an extra
$100,000 charge to the American taxpayers.

The former official, who spoke anonymously
to discuss the details, said the destruction
of the critically needed food would
not have happened prior to the
Trump administration’s destruction
of the US Agency for International Development.

“This is the definition of waste,” the former official said.]

Expensive Waste of life-saving food.

Asda has been fined 650,000 for having over a hundred out of date foods on its shelves in two stores

Bins are full while belly’s are empty

Some die of starvation while others die from eating too much

It’s just the way the world works folks

[The high-energy, nutrient-dense biscuits
have been sitting for months in a warehouse
in Dubai]

A charity asked if they could take that
but America refused, simply because each bit of food
was wrapped in USA Aid Food wrapping.
