[Speciality Steels UK (SSUK) in South Yorkshire,
has been put under government control after collapsing
into compulsory liquidation.
The Labour government will fund the plant's wages
and costs while insolvency specialists Teneo Advisory look
for a private buyer, securing the future
of the plant's 1,500 jobs and its electric-arc furnace.
