Well, this morning was supposed to be a trip to the dentist for littles but she's been puke-y for some reason. Husband had just told me that he thinks he has a sinus infection... anyway, I thought maybe it was a one off this morning since it was just a spit up but she full on vomited on the way to the dentist after we got something for her stomach. So when I took her in, I let them know and we rescheduled... then I told her "Well, I guess you'll just have to lay in bed and watch Clifford all day then" and she goes "O-KKKKkkk" (As in "Fiiiiine)... the dude that was waiting in the dentists almost lost it...

She's been cute all morning, but definitely very snotty. Otherwise seems to be fine.

Nice, that'll help your lawn with heat stress and recovery. Hopefully you won't get too many weeds though.. we had multiple storms a week across a good part of the summer and there's parts of the lawn I'm still working on that I had to go up a lot crab grass because storms were constant... I maybe only had to water 2 or 3 times across the season... very abnormal...

Woke at 5
Went to buy a curtain and a toilet brush
Hung curtains, measured how long I needed then, got them back down and did the seams on 3 of them, I still have one more to do
Hung up the 3 finished curtains
Ironed a shower curtain
Made a poster
Cleaned the bathroom mirror and sink
Went and bought one of those toilet clips that makes the water blue
Went to the playground for an hour
Prepared dinner and an extra meal for my partner's night shift
Cleaned the bathroom floor

Had a lovely chilled bank holiday today. Been in the garden and enjoyed the sunshine Visited my nan bless her. Cooked an immense roast dinner with all the trimmings, and had creams for dessert. I’m obsessed with their lemon meringue sundae at the minute

It says on the label to wash and iron it once a month to maintain the water resistance.

Yes, it does feel good to be productive! I have visitors from Ireland coming today so I'm doing a bit of a refresh partly due to that. I still have one curtain to do today and two loads of laundry, I want to clean the back splash in the kitchen with a magic eraser. I might also replace the silicone around the bath because it is discoloured but that might wait for another day as it is clean, just not aesthetically pleasing.

Yeah, it's definitely a positive feeling, I love being able to sit down in the evening and relax without big chores looming over me. My family member who is coming has a great bond with the toddler so it will be beautiful to see them reunited after a long time apart!

Bit hungover today as went to a bottomless brunch in Bristol yesterday. Went into Cardiff for some Thai Street food and a walk around. Now home and about to have a wee nap.
