Sinclair's message was posted on their Investor Relations page also, so maybe they were also seeing some pressure from shareholders.

I do find it a bit funny that the amount of people complaining probably far outweigh the number of people who actually watch him. Fewer people watch Network TV or Cable News than in the past... but users always act like cancellations are some big surprise (given dropping viewership). Normal people just go on like normal.

I did see on the other thread that he was insinuating that the shooter was a conservative so fake news as his political leanings had changed, but not sure even that is a reason to suspend him
