I never said they don’t but the UK has seen for a long while a lot of people have issues with Muslims for just being Muslims due to the long ongoing immigration issues/terrorist attacks over the years.

It’s not me saying I don’t also feel sorry for Jewish/Christians (and I’m unsure why Cherie felt the need to respond with that response that she did - it’s not a who should I feel sorry for more contest, it was literally just me saying I feel for most Muslims who have no part in ISIS/Gaza as the story was about ISIS not me saying I don’t feel sorry for anyone else).

…it’s not really about which religion or people are hated most, they’re all hated equally by Isis because that’s what the group is and generally what terrorism is…it’s hate, indiscriminate and absolute hate…and Christians/Jews/Muslims are all victims of that hate…

Of course they are getting hate regarding the current situation (poor wording in my response to you on my part ), but in this country Muslims have a history of being hated on just for being Muslim.
Not to mention, anyone brown who thick idiots assume is a Muslim - see last years protests when random British-born residents were attacked because people assumed they were migrants.

I feel sorry for the Jewish people, too because they're also victims of discrimination of religious-fuelled hate... but also people should be able to say 'I feel sorry for Muslim people' without it becoming a religion-oppression Olympics. You can feel sorrow for multiple groups of people under persecution at one time.

_____

Sorry but nobody really hates on Christians, nowhere near the same scale in any way shape or form.

Really?

You talk about brown people hated for being Muslim, then change It to being immigrants in the same sentence. British people don't want people dead, they just want illigal immigrants gone, or dealt with accordingly for breaking the law.

Whereas isis and lots of foreign living muslims want Christians dead, along side the jews..well alongside anyone not muslim really, and if they cant find any of them to kill they will start killing fellow Muslims who are the wrong sect to them.

So I would say your argument that Muslims are in more danger is only true when it involves other Muslims.

It was a different example of the same logic being used to equate someone who is brown = a certain demographic.

If you want to think that that's fine.

I might have overreacted, Ben. Probably because I hear all the time how tough Muslims have it while they're still landing here in this despicable, Islamaphobic country in their hundreds of thousands every year. The majority live in their own communities so really couldn't give a toss about what people think. British Jews are questioned all the time about what we think about Israel, we're insulted and attacked for it, while Muslims cannot be questioned about terrorism, grooming gangs, FGM, women's rights etc or they'll claim it's racist.

But the way things are going, and if things don't change, in 50 years or so, Muslims will be the majority in this country and the ISIS flag probably will fly over the Houses of Parliament just like ISIS predicted.

I responded the way I did because of how you posted Threat level to Jews and Christians raised, but your reaction was to feel sorry for Muslims, seemed a bit out of step tbh

Oh yeah, we've had problems here also... so I imagine it's not that different...

These were the incidents I found in about 5-10 minutes... there's probably more...

Activists Face Hate Crime Charges for Anti-Israel Graffiti

Spoiler:

Quote:
Texas prosecutors are seeking 10-year prison sentences for activists accused of anti-Zionist graffiti.

The three defendants — Raunaq Alam, Afsheen Khan, and another unnamed individual — were indicted on vandalism charges with hate crime enhancements after allegedly defacing a church with pro-Palestine stickers and the words “******* Israel” written in red spray-paint alongside three inverted triangles. The incident occurred in March 2024 at Uncommon Church in Euless, which was flying an Israeli flag at the time of the incident.

Last week, a jury convicted Alam of committing a felony criminal mischief but rejected the hate crime charges. The trials for Khan and the unnamed co-defendant are scheduled for September 30.

After Capital Jewish Museum shooting, Houston leaders warn of 'escalating antisemitism' across city

In recent months, some of Houston's prominent Jewish leaders and institutions have reported instances of antisemitic attacks. In March, Congregation Beth Yeshurun said its historic cemetery was vandalized; four headstones were knocked over near the front entrance, per KHOU. That same month, Houston Council Member Amy Peck reportedly cancelled a private speaking event in the Heights neighborhood after pro-Palestinian demonstrators "with bull horns surrounded her car, shouted slurs [and] menacingly named her children," per the Jewish-Herald Voice based in Houston.

Incident between Jewish Houston Council Member and pro-Palestine protestors sparks investigation

"So protestors came (to the event), they were being really loud. We were asked to leave the venue," Peck said.

Peck and Houston police said as the councilwoman was trying to leave the venue, protestors surrounded her car. Peck claimed they also used slurs. She said they told her they would come to her family's home and see her and her children later. She declined to provide details but said she perceived the interaction as a threat and said Houston police were looking into the matter.

"People who were there with hate," Peck said.

Instagram posts show the pro-Palestine activist group Al Awda Houston calling on their followers to participate in the demonstration and posting a video from the event.
Quote:
ABC13 made multiple attempts to contact Al Awda. The only member ABC13 was able to make contact with hung up the phone.

ABC13 also spoke with a former member of Al Awda. The source asked to remain anonymous and said they feared retaliation from Al Awda. They claim they left the group because of a culture of "racist remarks" and "escalation" that they felt endangered group members, protest targets, and law enforcement.

"I don't think they're helpful to the movement. I think they've caused a lot of harm and they've pushed so many people away that have wanted to take part in the advocacy for Palestine," they stated.

Terror on the Streets of Houston: Israeli Actor Oshri Cohen Attacked After DJ Set

(Houston)
Spoiler:

Quote:
Israeli actor and DJ Oshri Cohen and Israeli music producer Amit Mizrahi were victims of a frightening attack in Houston, Texas, after Cohen performed at a nightclub event over the weekend.

Mizrahi told Israeli outlet 'mako' that the two had just left the venue, accompanied by security guards, when masked men ambushed them.
The assailants fled the scene before security could intervene, and police reportedly did not arrive, with Mizrahi saying officers dismissed the incident since there were no physical injuries.
Antisemitic Undercurrent

The attack comes amid growing tensions for Israeli and Jewish performers abroad. Mizrahi shared screenshots from social media where users called to boycott Cohen’s set because he is Israeli.

One post read: “Stop supporting Israeli artists. They starve innocent people.” Another added: “Israelis who back genocide or stay silent about Palestinians do not deserve a stage.”

During Cohen’s set, a screen behind him displayed a message of solidarity with hostages: “Bring Them Home Now. We Will Dance Again.”
