It will be interesting to see if the narrative changes over the next few weeks. A few weeks ago, many 'experts' claimed the season was over; now, I expect those same 'experts' to start talking about the long season ahead, emphasising that "it’s a marathon, not a sprint."

Last season, Liverpool won the league with 84 points. When Arteta pointed out that this was a low total, he was criticised, but he was correct; it's the lowest points total since Leicester City won the title. Liverpool lost four games last season, and they've already lost three this year. They have upcoming matches against Brentford away, Aston Villa at home, and Manchester City away. How confident are Liverpool fans really, considering that the new signings are still taking time to settle in?

even at the start of the season, liverpool were very fortunate to get the results they did, so they really haven't got worse or better. Arsenal, Spurs, Man City and Man U are all improving as the weeks go on. I think liverpool may well struggle getting into the top 4

I agree. They might be vying for a top-four finish.

They have conceded two goals in five out of eight league games, which is indicative of mid-table form. Even with over Ł400 million worth of attacking talent, it isn't easy to score three goals against most Premier League teams. I believe Slot should focus less on how many goals Arsenal scores from set pieces and pay more attention to addressing his team's porous defence.

Slot was blaming Man U's tactics. The thing is, managers are realising playing out from the back and the sweeper keeper doesnt work in football generally

Well it took them long enough to realise that unless they had the right type of players it was suicidal …

I still like Arsenal as I like so many of their players but I do miss their beautiful football and intricate build ups ..

Also I just can’t take to Gyokores and I am wondering if as soon as Havertz or Jesus are fit they leave him on the bench as Plan b

I can see them offloading Goyokeres in the January window

Forest finally agree terms with Shawn / Saun Dyche

He wanted a decent length contract- not just till the end of the season

Rumours suggest they will sack anyway next summer as the owner wants the Fulham manager who has a get out clause next July

( or something like that)
