Some Rumours I Have Herad:

* 93 days

* Monday-Thursday 10pm, Friday-Sunday 9pm

* Caroline Flack/Steve Jones presenting BBLB

* Bigger house; bigger garden; no house next door

* Public vote to follow Aus system: vote to save/evict

* Prize fund £250,000; personal banks of up to £10,000

* Live challenges on Weds E4; presented by Flack

* Eviction the day after launch; 3 ‘or more’ up depending on how they fare in a launch night task.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some allege that the current Elstree house is being knocked down and completely rebuilt in the same site, while other sources have claimed the house will remain in the same structure, just re-fitted as usual.

Season nine was originally thought to be moving to a new location in Hammersmith; these rumours proved premature however when it was confirmed the Elstree site would be the home of the show until at least BB11 in 2010.

Site rules state that only a small number of evictions can be held on a day other than Friday, meaning there is little room for leeway with evictions - especially in a 12/13 week series. Plus, other rules exist regarding noise, which can stifle the housemates and also about Friday nights themselves - 11pm is the deadline for quiet on site, meaning some evictions have to be shown on a delay.

Alas, the show is remaining in Elstree for the time being. Will the house be knocked down? Or simply refitted? Either way, it’s expected the interior will be completely gutted and given a look unlike any other (in other words, the bedroom shouldn’t be in the same place as it has been since BB6!)

"BB HOUSEMATES WILL SUFFER"

BIG Brother fans may McCall a time when Davina was friendly to contestants - but the presenter warns that this time, the housemates are in for a shock.

Davina, who fronts her ninth series of the summer show this year, said Big Brother is getting tough.

Davina said: "Big Brother is no longer going to be lenient in any way, shape or form.
"If there's any kind of rule breaking, they're going to come down on them like a ton of bricks. You're not just going to be able to saunter into the diary room and go 'Hi yeah can I just get some gas for my curling tongs?'.

"No, no, no, no - they're basically gonna make housemates suffer a bit more which will be a good thing I think.

"We've been a bit soft the last couple of years, this is not a holiday camp you know, this is an entertainment programme and we need a winner."
