Sooo apparently many of the challenging teams are due to lose important players to the Africa Cup of Nations .. all apart from Arsenal who will actually be stronger with players coming back from injury !!

I see Foden scored a brace but again he only comes to life when City are 2:0 up and the game is as good as over with City dominating

Aston Villa deservedly going into the break 1:0 up


Arsenal can’t play any worse so I expect them to be far better in the second half

Saka has been dreadful again and playing Eze on the left is a waste of his talent .. England tried that with Scholes and it didn’t work then either

Arsenal were better but still waiting underwhelming

Nice to see Odegard back to his best BUT it means that Eze has to play out of position and that nullifies his effectiveness

Interesting to note in these days of long throws/ long balls and clattering tackles that Newcastle , Everton , Aston Villa and Chelsea are all on impressive runs … whilst the footballing teams are less consistent
