Because that’s what this equates to. Less than one half of one percent.
So when people question why it’s such a big part of national conversation when there are SIGNIFICANTLY bigger threats to women going ignored and say things like “why are we concentrating on this when when it doesn’t really happen” that’s them taking it in full context and that’s what they mean.
It’s like trying to kill an ant because you don’t want it in your house when there is a lion in the kitchen. And what’s worse is that a lot of the time it’s the lion that is telling you it’s the ant that is the problem...

I love it when men tell women that its okay for them to be assaulted or made to feel uncomfortable in what were previous safe spaces, its just a small percentage right.. we should just suck it up, what if that small percentage happened to be your Mum or your sister, its still okay is it?
Can I just say I was personally told on this forum it would never happen, not that it might only happen to a small percentage, I was told it would NEVER happen, so you moving the goalposts is neither here nor there
