Firstly, school leavers will not be trained for war zones. Experience is needed in active service, it will be experienced regular soldiers in war zones.

It would be a good thing for anyone who WANTS to take this up.
Something on these lines were looked at by the Conservative Party but I think I recall they were looking to make it compulsory. As long as things are not in the young being forced then it seems a good idea in principle. More information is needed to be made clearer about the idea though.
