I think people were just underwhelmed with Christmas telly this year,but yeah the way we watch tv now has a lot to do with it, there's all the streaming services & the Internet . And I think most of us just mostly watch the classics on DVD or catch-up , I watch a bit of telly but mainly the Christmas movies I own at home.
Whether it's nostalgia or comfort, there's something magical about rewatching stuff I've grown up with.
