Back in the day nearly every Corrie episode would end on a nail biting note and you had to wait 3 or 4 days for the next episode to see what happens
The Traitors, Strictly, and Gavin & Stacey's Christmas Special does kind of go against this though.

The main five channels in this country for the most part create rubbish that most people don't want to watch, the same in America with most of their Streaming platforms.
