Very happy I was finally able to get this knocked out because this is supposed to be the beginning of a few learning/gardening projects.
Today I pulled it out and I'm going around looking for things that might fly away because we're supposed to have bad gusts. Vanilla our chi/beagle/weiner dog(?) mix is hanging out in the photo:
My lawn bug rubbed off onto a neighbor Last year the son was trying to edge his yard manually which I gave him tools to finish. (He's actually quite skilled at carpentry). Anyway I think now he's gotten the idea to get the proper tools and now has a blower, edger, etc. My neighbor across is a landscaper/lawncare specialist, the neighbor on the other side of us runs a small lawncare business out of his backyard (he sells by the road) so he helped us with planting our new tree for the front. My daughter likes to watch while he loads up all the flowers. Anyway, we're expanding our influence whereever we can it seems like some kind of crazy plant virus... our HOA is not involved at all which is amusing.
