Interesting take on things below

It was even better before the 80’s

Well considering the 1970's made stuff like The Godfather and Star Wars, it obviously didn't do the industry any harm having a quality over quantity approach, and that's just talking of Movies.

I'm pretty sure that the 70's and 80's eras were a big deal for western Comics too, again another industry that is on it's knees currently compared to it's Japanese counterpart in Manga.

The Video Game industry is probably the only industry that can argue that stuff like Stellar Blade, Baldur's Gate 3, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Black Myth: Wukong have an actual chance of being remembered for being "iconic” piece of Media from the 2020's, that's not Indie budget stuff like Terrifier for the Horror Movie scene.

And I'm going more off what other people are saying with Baldur's Gate 3 and Wukong, as I haven't personally played those Games, so I'm taking these people at their word.

Edit... I know there are outliers in other industries (Ella Langley in the Music scene being one example) but she's only just starting out really, so time will tell on how well she'll be remembered in a couple of decades time.

I don't want to be that guy who shushes people at gigs but I'm getting very close to it!
At least nobody was masturbating at the concert that you went to, unlike the poor people that attended one of the more recent Korn gigs.
