I've lived in a two-bedroom flat within a huge house for 12 years.

But I have been looking to move for ages because the property is in decline and the landlord isn't doing anything about it.

Anyway, I was looking for one-bedroom flats. Many FAR too expensive. Then I found a nice little one-bedroom bungalow, double fronted semi-detached and in great condition, near the bus, train and Aldi.

I'm only 44 (just turning) but the bungalow was the same as if I was paying for a one-bedroom flat, but there's no one above me or below me.

I move in late April. Nice.

Thats lovely news, you are very lucky its hard to find decent places to rent at the moment as I understand it, you will need to find some steps to climb or you will get bungalow legs

Same for my flat. It's very close to work, but it's getting too expensive. Eventually I'll have to move, even though I love living in this area.
