They have done it exactly 1 week before for at least BB7 and BB8. Not sure about before then.

Soon house and countdown ad's will air
if the launch is confirmed today then countdown will be soon!
so now the release is tuesday next week... is this just another pin the date on the calendar thing... it was last week.. then today now next tuesday!

No last year & the year before the house ads definately were before the countdown
No, they actually wsn't, BB7 countdown started at sixteen, house ad's were only at day six or five, BB8 started countdown ads atten and house ads started at seven days. I think this year we won't have coundowns, just a house ad.
