Just found this sad thread. I am so sorry to hear this news and wish all her family well. I remember in my early days of joining this forum I stopped posting for a while and Wendy e-mailed me to see if I was ok. Such a kind caring person. her posts were always calm and polite. I will certainly miss the wisdom of such a fine lady......

im quite recent coming up to a year of being here so i didn't have the privilege to speak to Wendy but she sounded like a great person, and i just wanted to say to the other original members, i know you will but do her proud and keep this forum getting better and better and you have the support of other members in getting there!

I always enjoyed reading her posts and she seemed to be a very warm and witty lady.

I was reading cc100 and some of the other original members posts and its obvious rob had a huge impact on tibb.I dont recall ever speaking to Wendy but I have read many of her posts during my time on tibb and what those who knew her best of the forum are saying seem to ring true.Id like to thank her for help making tibb what it is today and hope she is now at peace.
My thoughts go out to her family and the forum members who are affected by wendys passing.

Only came back last night but Mark told me about this when she first passed away and I know i'm a bit late but still R.i.p to her and my thoughts are still with all of her family and friends on and off the forum.

I cannot put into words my feelings for my dear friend Wendy. Such a loss to everyone. My heart goes out to her dearly loved husband, sons, daughters in law and grandchildren. I know she felt it was important to say goodbye to them all properly and I hope she had the chance to do so.

I have so many memories of Wendy, not least of many late nights sharing hopes and worries about those two BB lovebirds as was Paul and Helen. We even spent an evening in Nottingham putting the world to right as only we knew how as far as those were concerned.

Wendy brought so much happiness to everyone she touched, both at work and in her home life. Her contributions to TIBB will never be forgotten - anyone who read her little stories would leave them in tears and laughing at the same time. A very special lady!!! A big for her up there.

Just recently back on TiBB and I saw this topic just now and I just want to say how terribly sad this news is to the forum. We weren't friends but I remember her on the forum.

Just seen this myself, and although I didnt know the lady I wish to add my condolenses to her and her loved ones.
Although the cause of her passing is scary to consider with my presant circumstances, reading her tributes here has made me stronger knowing so many do care, and that care will always make Wendy remembered and treasured forever.
