I think the show did fantastic, it wasn't advertised much and was on E4. I was expecting around 200,000.

I hope this means the launch will do great too.

536,000 overnights for an E4 show with little advertising is very good, expect the officials to be between 550,000 and 600,000.

If a pre-series show tucked away on E4 can get over half a million viewers, imagine what the launch will get on channel 4.

I think the launch is going to do very well. There is no competition and going by these ratings for an E4 show which hasn't been advertised much, the launch has got to do as well or even better than last year.

There is competition, but not much of it is from the same demographic as BB fans, most of the competition is USTV and dramas.

Put it this way though, the official ratings for 'Big Brother: The love stories" which aired at 10pm the day before a very popular series (BB7) were 537,000. The officials for this auditions programme may match or beat that and that series peaked on launch night at 8.2 million viewers. So who knows.
