Ok i agree the task was pretty good but i can't help thinking that for the 4 people now up for eviction it is a bit unfair - the whole wedding thing was pretty unbelievable and then telling the housemates their was a real couple in the house completely left them exposed .... those 4 up for eviction have had no real time to be themselves and now one of them will be going home .... it just seems a bit unfair to me ....... you should be evicted on merit in my opinion

Well... I found it fine until BB announced there was a real couple in the house.
Since Rachel was next in after the task 4 she knew it was either Luke&Steph, or Mario&Lisa... the only valid choice was the latter and of course it meant they failed the task. BB gave them no chance to pass it. |

Big Brother clearly wasn't thinking things through on this one. Even if Steph and Mario had perfectly executed the task and fooled everyone 100%, when asked DURING THE WEDDING that there is a secret pair is almost screaming at the HMs that it's one of the two people involved in the wedding.
Big Brother should have waited until the wedding was over, and should've asked something like "Who would make the best couple in the house?" In that case, Lisa's excellent job would've been recognized...no one had a clue she was tied to Mario, and that's what the task was supposed to be about. Not to mention the whole "Rachel would know it was one or the other" argument, it was just set-up to fail. |

Exactly !! It just seems a bit cruel that those people have gone through the whole selection process and one of them is going to be evicted without having a fair shot at the whole bb experience - they have spent almost 50% of their time in the house pretending to be something their not and in all honesty BB should be ashamed of themselves

I think it was unfair the way BB told the house that there was a secret couple.
No one would of spokeout about it being Mario and Lisa if they hadn't and the 4 would of passed. BB should ahev given the house untill the night of the wedding for someone to say "is mario and lisa a couple" |

I thought that was unfair when BB announced that there was a secret couple in the house. That wasn't part of the task

I agree. in a way i feel sorry for steph and the others cos as soon as they wwalked in they were at a disadvantage where they couldnt be themselves and now its likely steph will go without hardly showing what shes really like.
She will have to do somthing really wild or work really hard to stay in come this friday. |

I think BB should be ashamed of themselves, this task was completely out of order, with the announcement at the wedding dinner there was no way they could have won the task. It was like setting them up to fail from the start because they are engineering who goes out and who stays in.
Not to mention the emotional strain it must have put on the four housemates involved, they are there to enjoy their experience and one of them has had to spend the whole week pretending to be someone else and not really enjoy themselves at all! None of that four should go, it would have been fairer to put the whole house up. |

I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that feel this way.
The secret mission was a great task, and I enjoyed it. But the way it ended was AWFUL, and not to mention unfair. And you guys are right about how these four never got the chance to experience how it truly feels to play Big Brother. They were given a task right away, and now one of them is getting evicted soon because of it. I hated that BB told the housemates that there was another couple in the house right after the wedding commenced. I agree with you guys about how it was totally obvious that it would involve one of them (Mario and Steph), and since Rachel knew that the 4 of them were alone together in the house before she came, I think she would know right away. I hate to see one of the people I like go. I'm just hoping that there's some early twist that enables the evictee to stay in the house. You never know. Like, in the latest season of Big Brother Australia, the first evictee (Terri) was given a task, and she got to be a housemate again. |

The task was fair enough untill BB announced the wedding. That was pushing it too far. To believe the Steph would ever look twice at Mario was bad enough but to then throw in the proposal and the wedding in front of a bunch of cynical and sceptical HM's was never going to work.
I agree that the four have had no chance to be themselves which is totally unfair to them. I liked Steph but her reaction to the task is probably going to spell her demise. |

I agree with all of you! I was very disappointed, specially when Alex started screaming "I knew it"! She didn't know anything, neither did the rest of the house about the relationship between Mario and Lisa! But it was obvious after BB told them there was a secret couple! Totally unfair!
But I would not be sad to see Steph go as she did not play the game and she is just one more celebrity wannabe! And now Mario and Lisa are going to distance themselves from the rest of the house! |

It did end with a bit of anti-climax. I think they wanted to shift focus onto the venomous self proclaimed ghetto-biatch Alexandra.

As soon as the "wedding" was announced, the "secret 4" had no real chance of pulling it off. Who would believe that any girl would agree to marry someone they've only known for 9 months, then have the marraige a few days later without any of their family and friends being talked to or invited. It was a stretch too far.
However, they almost pulled it off until BB made "that" announcement, then a very simple deduction was all it took to condem them, making all their efforts totally pointless. BB dropped a clanger on this one, now someone will get the chop that they don't deserve. I hope for fairness sake this first eviction is a fake one. |

Yep, I agree. None of them got a chance to be themselves really, until the task was over. I think the plan right from the beginning was for those 4 to be up for eviction - I don't think anyone expected they would cope so well. The wedding, especially, must've come as a shock - yet they still went along with it! BB really put the pressure on but they didn't crack (apart from the odd argument here and there), so ultimately BB had to interfere.
It was a disappointing end to what could have otherwise been a good secret mission. All 4 who are up for eviction did their best. |
