Residents in the north-east will be enjoying all the fun of the fair today at the Ellon Summer Festival.

Compere for the event will be former Big Brother winner Cameron Stout.

Starting at 10am there will be a range of activities at the Riverside, including entertainment from the Ythan Singers, the Ythan fiddlers, the Rosaline Hendry Dancers and the Ellon British Legion Pipe Band.

Throughout the day there will also be face painting for the children, stalls, street entertainers and a bouncy castle.

At the Deer Park a children's disco will be held from 6pm until 8pm and the marquee dance will take place from 8.30pm until 12.30am.
