Hey, don't let your join date put you off applying!
Mark even said himself it doesn't matter. If you fill in the application form and sound good for the 'position', the time you joined won't affect that.

Thanks for the advice, I'll keep that in mind.

The only thing that is putting me off is I think I'm a bit too nice, and I've never done moderating work before.

But I'll have a think about it, and I'll have to make a decision before tonight.

I would love to apply - but i doubt i would be chosen, as the questions are pretty simple for anyone to answer and give the correct answers, and so there would be no effeicent way of knowing who to pick in a fair way.
