Helen and her mum pop to the shops

Helen Adams made it clear from Day One in the Big Brother house that her main ambition in life was to own a pair of Gucci shoes and a Gucci handbag. On her birthday BB tormented her, forcing her to choose between the objects of her desire and a party for the housemates. The big-hearted lass went for the party and finally got the shoes and handbag when she left the house as a present from boyfriend Paul Clarke. However it seems that far from satisfying her desire for Gucci items, the presents only made her hungry for more.

Last week Helen and her mum Liz got some serious retail therapy. Miss Adams emerged from the Gucci shop with the biggest shopping bag heat has ever seen. Liz didn’t let her daughter down in the posh shopping stakes – she sported a Burberry coat and carried a Lulu Guiness-esque bag with a poodle on it. What will they make of all this back in Gwent?
