Default BB9 Ratings...

On Yahoo.co.uk it states that this series of BB has a lower series ratings average this year than in did last year! Is that true becuase I though that the ratings were better this year.

We know that.

It's not down by much. Last year series average was 3.6, this years is 3.3..

Did you read the article?? lol "Big Brother originated in the Netherlands in 1999 and the UK version launched on Channel 4 a year later. In 2006, Channel 4 secured the rights to Big Brother until 2010 in a deal though to be worth up to £180 million.

But viewing figures have averaged 3.3 million in the current ninth series, 5% down from the 3.6 million this time last year.

Bookies have now slashed the odds for Big Brother to be axed in the UK following the ditching of the format in Australia from 16-1 to 8-1."

Its down but thats understandable after 3 disaster series
The aim of BB9 is to sustain the audience it has left and to build on that next year.
Its still getting more of the viewers the advertisers want in its slot and for C4 and is still getting C4 its highest rated show everyday except Tuesdays
Big Brother is doing well this year, and has increased its audience week on week showing that word of mouth is paying
it will probably average the worst or second worst series but don't judge this series by the ratings because its better than what the ratings say and the ratings are just showing the impact of CBB5, BB8 and BB:CH
