Seeing Spencer tonight leave the Big Brother house with grace and good humour has put him way up in my estimation!

He came across as shy and inoffensive. I get the feeling that all the cockiness was a show of bravado and not arrogance like I have previously said on other threads.

I'm still very happy that Alex has stayed in the house, but I regret that these two were put up against each other so early on in the show.

Maybe Spencer would have grown on me even more, shame we'll never find out!

I totally agree Janette. I think it was quite obvious he was gutted to be voted out, but was trying really hard to stay calm and cool about it - didn't want to damage his image!!

I thought he was very gracious and was still refusing to be drawn into gossip and back biting. Good on you Spencer - the house won't be the same without you.

I agree... Spanky was absolutely the same in and out of the house even though he must have been a bit overwhelmed at what faced him as he cheekily walked through the door...wasn't that cute the way he peered aound the door, took one look at the crowd then reported back to the other housemates that all was cool, before making his way down the stairs and to the waiting crowd cheering for him below?
Even though he would have seen last years madness and knew what to expect, I still think it would have knocked him sideways to see all the adulation...but he dealt with it so cooly. I think his interview with Davina was the one of the best interviews I have seen, from all three of the Big Brother series. He was wicked!

It’s never too late to be converted Janette! I thought he was lovely, and Honey – I agree – he was so cute when he peeked round the door – really made me laugh!
One of the things I liked most about him was that he didn't bitch or sit and moan about everybody - he got on with things.

OOO i've found athread where only nice things are being said about Spenny Wenny. The boy is lovely. I agree when he peered round the door he looked gorgeous, and must have wondered why he was going after the reaction he got. Apparently he whispered in kate's ear while she was crying, "remember to be very bad". How cute is he? I too think he played the eviction routine very well. He said "editing" straight away, so if it was that obvious to him why wasn't it too anybody else? Thought it was very funny when he said to Davina "you're married aren't you?" She got a bit flustered there. He looked lovely in that green T shirt before he came out but then he put on his green mac thingy. What a waste! (through gritted teeth) Hope he and Kate make a go of it.
