The proposals to eves drop on e-mails has been going on for some years now....The subject pops up every so often I think so Government can get a taste of public reaction before trying to implement some or all of it's proposals..

Security and terrorist tracking is their excuse for doing it....

My understanding is that e-mails would not be kept to read but instead just a record of who e-mailed who where and when. the content I understand would not be retained.

However give governments an inch and you soon have abuse of people privacy and rights.......

A difficult subject to evaluate. However i feel in the long run be afraid be very afraid.....
