It should be clear to Maxwell and Saskia that Kemal, in a bed a few feet away, is going to react sooner or later to them snogging at 4 in the morning. As Derek just said in the highlights, they treat the place as if its theirs with no consideration for anyone else. They are selfish and arrogant.
Michelle and Stu used makeshift barracade in the dining room. But they were both nice people. Saskia and Maxwell aren't. They are vacuous, conceited, nasty and self-centred.
