Right, this isnt my story but its my cousin Dean's. Dean works in a garage and his boss asked him to go round the back of the garage to go and stack the tires neatly.. Anyway while he was stacking them he said he saw a quick flash (but he didnt beleive in all this ghost stuff.. in his words it was all aload of crap). So he thought nothing of it and carried on stacking.

About 5 mins later he turned around and he said he honestly can only describe what he saw to be an outline of a women that was extremley blurred around the face. He said he couldnt see her features but it was like he could it was a women, now considering hes a 23 year old man with a fiance and a kid he absoultly pissed himself. He said hes never ran so fast out of the room in all his life and he was having to jump through all the tires left over on the floor. He ran back to his work colleges and one of them said 'whats wronge with you' because apparantly he looked terrified and he was very pale.

So Dean says 'Ive just seen something' and his friend Daniel said 'Youve seen a women havent you' and he said 'yeah, have you?' and he said yeah shes been there for ages dont worry about it. Anyway he told my auntie and she was quite interested in it all and she wanted to know more about it and what the place could of been years ago, she found out that it was an old workhouse. My auntie told me this in Harvester early this year and ever since ive beleived in it. Although if i ever saw a ghost in my house i deffo wouldnt return. Btw, Dean still works in the same place and he says that he hasnt seen anything else since. x

Urgh, scary! I have another story too. There'a an old disused factory complex near where I live. Now, several people have a story about this, but I'll tell one that one of my school teachers told us in a free lesson. His father was driving through the woods behind the factory complex, and he suddenly saw an old man in the middle of the road. HE braked, but was unable to stop in time so he hit the man. The guy instinctively jumped out the car and searched for the man everywhere, but he was nowhere to be see. There wasn't even a dent on the car bonnet or winscreen.

Anyway, panicked, the guy drove to the police station and told the receptionist that he thought he ran over an old man near Ferodo. These are the policeman's exact words: "Oh, not that bl***y story again!"

I believe this one because several people have reported it, and also the teacher's father died still insistent that he ran over an old man.

I myself have never expericanced anything strange and i wouldnt want to but ive been told alot of storys by my nans carer, my mate Kaceyan and my auntie's story about Dean. Ill tell you the one my mate Kaceyan told me about 3 months ago in Science.

Ok, me and my mates were in Science and we had 10 mins free time because we were in the ICT room [if we work well, we all get 10 mins freetime lol]. We were on youtube freaking ourselves out by looking at ghost vids and my mate Kaceyan was like that isnt what they look like. So we were like 'what how do you know what they look like' and she said 'because ive seen loads'. So we never beleived her because she didnt explain herself she just said she'd seen one. So she told us, she said that everytime she goes to Jamaica she stays in the same house which is like her family home. She said about 3 years ago she was asleep in the bedroom but awoke because she felt something tight around her neck and when she opened her eyes theres was a man standing at the door which had no colour and was slightly bright. She said hello [shes a flippen dare devil trust me she dosent seem to be afraid of ANYTHING] and she said it just sort of turned and it was gone. And she still stays in that room everytime she goes to Jamaica. I was like 'wtf!!' and i was like 'are you serious' and she put her hand on her heart and said 'I swear to God.. G-O-D' and were all christians so for her to say that it was kind of obvious that she wasnt lying. Im telling you i was so scared that night expecially when i sleep alone on the bottom floor of the house haha. x

(not a long story but) Years ago i moved into a new flat, cheap rent of course. At night i could always hear some type of old music comming from next door but i thought bit odd with the old tunes, but i did bang on the walls a few times. One night as i going into my flat i could see the door next to my flat was bit open, i walk upto the door and as i was standing at the door i could hear the same old music as lastnight, oh the person is in so i just knocked on the door.. No answer so i did walk in just to say the door was open. Of course not wanting to go in but i had a feeling it was the right thing to do so i did. Then i saw my next door neighbour, nice old lady was standing there with a smile, i said that her door was open and just checking that everything was ok and she said "yes im going to bed now, i always get tired at this time" then i just said ok goodnight but keep your door shut in future, so i went out shuting the door behind me. Next day i woke up and was making a coffee but had no milk, so i thought il ask the nice lady next door, went to her door made few knocks but no answer. A man in another room down the hall said nobody lives there anymore, i said that i was talking to the lady that lives here lastnight.. The bloke said "your joking, nobody has moved in since she was killed by her neighbour that broke into her flat more than two years ago!".....

Well I'm convinced my house is *haunted* by my nana. The house we live in used to be my nanas and whenever she had the living room done up she made sure there was a chair in a spot of the room, it was her chair. Out of habit when we decorate we put a chair there now. She was quite a heavy smoker as well but one day (long after she had died) there was just smoke randomly coming from the chair, but it wasn't fire smoke, it was as though someone was smoking there ... all very bizarre. Few other things have happened like once on her birthday some "speaking" just started coming through the speakers, couldn't make out what it was (speakers and computer were off btw), but she always said she'd torment us

When a friend of mine moved into the house he lives in the neighbour said used to belong to an old woman who died in there and she was an evil old cow, very possessive etc, but never told me that because he knows it freaks me out being in houses where people have died. One night I stayed over and it was about 3am and I suddenly woke up and didn't feel comfortable at all, I felt as though there was something there that didn't want me there and I was really cold as well. I went back to sleep then woke up again about an hour later, same feelings as before but 10 times worse and it felt like someone was stood over me, it freaked me right out. I told him about it the next morning and he told me what he knew and things just seemed to slot into place.

Oh remembered one.
I havent had any experience but this is one.

When my mum was a child her mum and dad used to do riding holidays at their house, and have loads of children other and stuff. Some nights they would play "Wiedge Board" (Sp) and basically just pretend, like knock the table with their knees and stuff. Anyway, one night they did it, with their fingers on the glass when suddenly it started spinning around really really really fast, to fast for someone to move it. As you would naturally the all let go, it got faster and faster and it smashed against the wall!

And apparently in one end of the house their was allways whistling in the mornings.

And about the road one, their is something like that on a road near us, but instead its a hitchhiker.
