I completely agree Wildchild. We all have our favourite housemates, but the one thing we all have in common is that we are all fans of BB. My two favourite housemates were Helen and Paul, my least fave was probably Narinder, but I certainly don't hate her, or any of them. They all contributed to a show that entertained us greatly last summer. The show wouldn't have been the same if any one of them had not been there. We all have a right to our own opinions and I think it is completely pointless to argue about who we liked and who we disliked.

Chill out folks - Happy New Year.

Ditto, LEE.

The housemates themselves have all let byegones be byegones now, so surely we can do the same. Everyone has their favourites and like to discuss them more than others, but surely we can do this without resorting to throwing insults back and forward. I for one certainly don't want to sink to the level of those nasty Bitches who started off this topic in the first place!!

Chill out, and live and let live, I say.

Yes, New Year, new starts! I suppose we should try to be a bit grown up about it. I'm sure they all get on great now and in spite of any differences in the house. The situation they were in not only brought out living together frustrations, but encouraged them to think about it and vocalise it. I remember how much I sometimes hated my flatmates that are now my best friends. Now we've spread around the country I really miss them. The fights give us as good a laugh as the other memories now we're all grown up.

It's something I've said before, and I think it's worth repeating to remind us to keep a little perspective in these little 'discussions'. Each and every one of them would probably rather spend the day with any of the others than one of their maddest fans.

I know I'm supposed to be being grown up, but I just have to say Paul (and Brian) are easily also household names. Even Sun readers can remember names and faces when you've been on the front cover more than five or six times. It doesn't matter if they stories are accurate.
Their sayings are pretty well known too. Demons are after all double-weird, evil and wicked. Monosyllabic? How many syllables in International?

OK, now I'll chill my boots?

You may be one of these 'maddest fans' that you talk about but I am not and neither are a lot of the others on this board. You seem unable to do as everyone has requested and let the subject die. I think it is childish of you to keep going on and on and on in a vain attempt to have the last word on this topic. As Mark and others have said (including myself) we will never all agree about Paul or any of the other former housemates, so please move on now. It was only a gameshow. Let this be the end of it.

OK, folks, as Girlie has said, can this please be the end of this pointless arguing about the merits or otherwise of individual housemates. We all joined this board because we are fans of BB the programme, irrespective of who our favourites might be.

Can I suggest that we reserve any bad feelings towards people such as The Bitches at the Star, who started us off on this particular topic.

You can say what you like about them, as far as I'm concerned!!

We've decided to close this thread so that the argument doesnt continue.

Could we all please agree to differ and remember we are all fans of BB as well, whoever our favourite housemates are.
