Default Is Kate Jinxed?

(from the C4 website)

THE question was bound to be raised at some point: is Kate jinxed?

It seems that whoever the 22-year-old befriends gets booted out of the House.

First it was her best mate Alison and last week it was her love interest, and hot favourite, Spencer.

And this week is no different.

No sooner had she befriended Sophie than the poor girl is up for eviction, with Kate's other close friend Jonny!

While Kate hasn't exactly started blaming herself yet, she has noticed that the people she likes are dropping like flies!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

A spooky coincidence, or just damned bad luck?

You decide .................

Hmmmm this happened last year with Brian too. First Penny went, then Narinder and finally Bubble...how weird...might this mean...no surely not....well ya never know, stranger things have happened?
Kate is now my favourite after Spanky left, how fanatstic if she was to be the first girl to win the UK Big Brother. I know as it stands at the moment Alex will probably win, but without wishing him ill...I would love it if something...anything, not necessarily too bad, was to happen which meant that he was out of the running giving Kate a chance to come through as victorious. I know Jonny if not evicted by then might be voted winner over her...but I would like to think the public would vote in favour of a well deserving girl this time. I still think Anna should have won BB1 and she would have if the reasons hadn't been revealed as to what Craig intended to do with the winnings if he won, or hadn't had the barny with Nast Nick..I think her overall contribution and the person she was throughout more than showed her to be the winner...oh well we'll just have to sit tight and see won't we...I am not too confident about Kate becoming the winner of BB3 but I hold a little ray of hope nevertheless?

Kate is now one of my two favourites, with Jonny. She seems to me to be warm, friendly, genuine, and emotional.

However most voters in BB are girls, and the vibes I get is that they don't like Kate because they are jealous of her looks. Even though there is not a shred of evidence in BB3 to support it, they think she flutters her eyebrows to get her own way with the boys!

It sounds a wierd thing to say, but unless young girls stop acting like male chauvinists (I know it sounds odd, but...) we won't get a female winner in Big Brother in this country.

And that's a shame, because Kate would make a worthy winner. If she and Jonny were the last two, I wouldn't care who won!

I do agree Honey and Oldgit, I'd love Kate to win. I'm really going off Alex big time. He is getting more arrogant every day and more under the influence of the Witches of Elstree. PJ is not a very nice person at all and I'm afraid I've never really taken to Jonny, although I've grown to like him more as the series has gone on. He is at least genuine, doesn't bitch or moan and tries to get along with everyone. That only leaves the unspeakably awful idiot, Tim.

So, out of a very sad bunch let's hope for Kate to win.

Kate is the one for me too.
She has shown herself to be a very strong young lady without being pushy.
To have to live on the poor side yet again this week must have been like a slap in the face from Alex, yet she showed him no hard feelings.
I'm sure she was very upset about it especially when you could clearly hear Adele saying to Alex "JADE JADE" when he had to choose between Kate and Jade. She should have been called to the diary room for that.

GO KATE!!!!!!!!

I thought Adele was saying "Kate" to Alex when he was picking the rich side on Saturday night. Did I mishear then?

You're right, Adele should have been warned by Big Brother about that - no matter what she said!! She was influencing the vote.

Personally I think Jade should have been put on the poor side away from alcohol as it seems to be a dangerous influence on her!

You could see Kate looking up at Jonny, I think she wanted to be on the poor side with him rather than the rich side with Alex.

Has anyone else noticed that since the divide went up, the person to be evicted has always been on the same side as Kate?

Lee
Spencer
and now Sophie or Jonny

Is that another jinx???

GO KATE

The way she has dealt with things on the poor side with all her allies being nominated without complaining too much she deserves to win

GO KATE

I think everyone watching BB tonight must have been delighted when Kate managed to get her question right and get into the 'Rich' side. I was certainly cheering for her and you could see how thrilled she was.

And how brave was she to try for the "Killer Question"? I was willing her to get it right and I thought she made a really good attempt at it, only missing two people out.

Poor Kate and poor Jonny. Three weeks on the 'Poor' side in a row is going to be very hard for them both.

I am really disappointed that the bars are staying up for yet another week. I thought, wrongly, that the questions would be easy so I can only think now that BB really wanted them to stay after all.

It's not so much that Kate is jinxed as that Adele and Alex are playing a clever game.

After their conversation in the rich bedroom after PJ and Jade went outside, Adele and Alex should be done for discussing nominations, they went as far as they could without mentioning the N-word!

I'm afraid I'm not going to join this growing Kate bandwagon. She's still in my bottom three housemates.

I thought she was manipulative in the first week and this impression has remained with me. She's still in it to win.

This growing support for her is an unfortunate side-effect of the divide and the random methods the producers have been using to choose who goes where. Viewers are sentimental and sympathise with the underdogs on the poor side while Alex and company wine and dine on the rich side.
Through no fault of his own, other than winning tasks through a single throw of a dart and a game of musical chairs, he is starting to look arrogant.

This uneven playing field is a unsuitable way of deciding who should win this personality contest.

James they are ALL in it to win.

Not one would be there if they didn't think they had a chance.

I have never disliked Kate and I know think she is probably the 'nicest' of those left which means she is likely to go soon. I hope not. The 'witches of elstree'[thank you Peachy for that is what they are]should go and the sooner ther better followed closely bu the ginger chinless wonder. Why does he think he needs to hide behind a bottle of hair dye???

Who dares wins....they should ALL have rebelled ,how can we forguve Alex and Adele for staying put - bu then Mummy wouldn't have liked it of course!

True Boris - EVERYONE is in it to win!

I can't see Kate being manipulative at all, she is sensible, she is strong and I would really love her to win. I just hope Adele doesn't try and manipulate her now....
