Rex has proved since spitgate that nothing he does is personal. He likes to wind housemates up for entertainment's sake and he knows where to draw the line. What's more, he's always big enough to apologise if his games begin to upset people.

I think in hindsight it shows just how awful Jennifer was that night and how she pretty much single handedly (with a bit of help from her bitches, Dale, Stu, Dennis and Bex stoking the fire) caused a trivial, playful incident to become one step away from a violent melee which would have guaranteed serious injuries.
