See, the term Chav comes from Council House And Violent.
However, it's now considered chavvy on what you wear, which includes large earrings like Saskia, trackies (Saskia and Makosi) and other tacky clothes (Headbands included) Interpretation of Chav is so diverse, we all, I suspect have something chavvy about us. Maybe with me, it's my slippers
