There is a starting to be a culture of equality in this country with organisations actively supporting equal opportunities and so on but theres still a long way to go and other countries are way behind

I think the most equal things will get will be in around 50 years time. Most young people aren't particularly sexist/racist because they aren't so ignorant but a lot of older people who were brought up around the time of "whites and men are better" don't really know much better, and really they can't be blamed for that. But I think there is always going to be an association with women being the weaker sex and the ones who should be looking after the kids etc, purely because of physical things. But I do think things will settle down eventually and everyone will be equal enough not to complain.
