I think she was and Rachel was a huge reason why I personally like season 9 so much. Didn´t like season 8 because it was more or less Ziggy and Charnelle, Catole as food police and Charnelle screaming about everything.
I watch BB to see how and why different housemates clash or get along witch each other and how and why housemates react to various situation. This year had a great variation of housemates that made great television.
Rachel played a huge part. I´m the first to admit she´s not as good "one man show" as Pete but she was lovely and very likeable to many. She also got a good reaction from the other housemates. Her sweetness made the other so paranoid and her audition video took a life at it´s own. Tons ofnasty talks behind her back and conspiracy all over the place. She also made Mario and Lisa paranoid because they belived Rachel had a crush on Marioo. She could very well been involved in the two strongest friendship with Mikey and Kat. Something I think was very refreshing with all the fighs going on. We have her week as a different HOH compare to others who resulted in lot of talks and anger from Rex in particular.
She was a B-blocker but clashed more with the other B-blocker than any other fram that group. She was the underdog who nobody belived in. A lot of the other housemates agree she was the weakest player and someone they could beat in an eviction. Many said she couldn´t belive Stuart but she did. Rex than said you won because Kat´s fand. Weeks later she survived Kat in a big shock before she won it all. Her rellation with Rex was another intresting story much because it wasn´t all about hate. There´s still a lot of question there.
Rachel did a lot. A lot of times people like Luke and Rex "helped" her but that´s not important as I watch Big Brother because why and how housemates react to other housemates.
Rachel, Rex and Mo was the 3 key player in my eyes. Rex as the best "bad guy" and Mo because he was the most hated the first half of the season.
However, when whisper club was gone Mo lost almost all his importance. Rex was destroyed by Nicole and because "Bad guys" don´t win Big Brother.
Mikey was a big player but he was a housemates that reacted more to what other created instead of creating much on his own.
