Yeah, Girls Aloud SHOULD perform on next week's show, if there is such a lack of talent!!

Tomatoes at the ready!!

On a lighter note, Clea, *you know, the other four girls from Popstars the rivals* said no to Louis Walsh's offer of joining the X Factor. He said they would do well, but they refused. It goes to show that what goes around doesn't necessarily come around!

But I can see where Nicola is coming from. In retrospect it probably looks really cheesy to her, but she has to realise that the same goes for her!!

And I think it's common knowledge that Javine was swindled out of a place in the band. But can you really see Javine, towering above the others, being the lead singer, therefore shoving Nadine out?

It wouldn't have worked...

And she went on to Eurovision. *shudder*

Shows like the X Factor and Popstars are good for one, possibly two or three good acts, with only one of them having any kind of chart factor. Look at Hear Say. Then look at Liberty X.

Look at Steve Brookstein. Then look at G4.

The winners are forced to do what they get told to do, and don't get any sort of license to do their own thing. Then once they've been used, they find it hard to get back in again.

So to be honest, I'd be hoping to get far, and then not win. Maybe second? I stand a better chance of staying in the public eye!!

But G4 have hardly 'done their own thing', have they? An album of covers, most if not all songs that they well and truly murdered on XF. And there really can't ever have been such a greedy bunch (what do you call them? a screech of toffs? a choirette? that bloke who looks like the one from Queen, the one that looks like Kenneth Clarke, the one that looks like Leon Britain and the one that looks like Nigel Harman?). Blue Peter smacks of desperation, but Ready, Steady, Cook? I know any act that wins (or comes second) on a show like that will have more than a slight tacky element to them, but garnishing Ainsley Harriott's celeriac mash in the hope of selling another CD or two is really quite pathetic.

lol, Girls Aloud should come and perform live on the X Fctor, with all the pressure as well, its very easy for them to say that when they have the comfort of a recording contract and a studio, where if they make a mistake, they can record the song again
