Aw its horrible when you see a animal in pain, I think the best thing to do is put it down I think your doing your nan's cat a favour to, I don't think it really wants to be in pain.

Oh no! I hate seeing animals when they're like that. I can't imagine the pain it must be in.

i no exactly how your nan feels my cat of 18 years died in june i was devestated he had most of the symptoms that Felix has if he is in pain then he does need to be taken to the vets, but if he isn't keep him in his home and let him go in the comfort of the home! it will be very hard for your nan especially if she lives alone? maybe you could do something to remember him by planting a tree in a special place! it will get easier although it doesn't seem like it now but after a while your nan will remember the good times and the crazy things felix used to do!

I'm sorry to hear that, I hate stuff like that.

I'd literally have an emotional breakdown if my cat Princess or Tippy got ill.

Aw. Horrible news. I hate seeing animals in pain
Well if he is put down you can be happy remembering he had a great long life and that he went in the most comfortable way possible.

Losing a pet can be the same "or even worse" than losing a friend or aquaintance.

I have been there done it and wore that t shirt very sadly.

Cried for hours.

It was horrible.
