LOL,i can tell you this cover is shed-loads better then any druken-karaoke performance.shes covering it because there was such huge buzz/hype over it.

She's done quite well in the USA AS WELL hasn't she? They don't suffer fools gladly, either!! Not from outside their own country, anyway!!

^ to KKBL, you don't have to be talented to sell lots of records

Although I dislike Leona, I do think this is a good cover [despite the original being way better, obviously] but releasing it as a single is awful.
It was done as a one-off performance for Radio 1 Live Lounge, that's how it should stay. Shove it on the Radio 1 Live Lounge CDs, but releasing it as a single ruins the magic that it created at the beginning.
I'd say the same thing to any artist that releases a studio version of a Live Lounge cover. Fine, make it a b-side but not the actual single.

hmm....the original is actually really good!
but there is no doubt that leona's voice sweeps through this song!
