X FACTOR favourite Diana Vickers broke down in rehearsals last night — as the pressure of tonight’s programme became too much.

The 17-year-old — mentored by judge Cheryl Cole — was devastated to miss last week’s show due to laryngitis. She must perform tonight to keep her spot on the show.

One source said: “Diana was tearful and found it hard to pull herself together. Cheryl was there to help her — but Diana knows it is her last chance.”

To make matters worse, bookies have revealed all the cash is now going on Eoghan Quigg.

The Irish lad has attracted more X Factor bets this week than the rest of the field combined. Ladbrokes’ Nick Weinberg said: “It’s been one-way traffic for Eoghan.

“Punters have deserted Diana following her no-show and the majority have transferred allegiance to Eoghan.”

The 16-year-old’s odds narrowed to 4-1 from 5-1 while Diana is out to 11-10 from evens.

Diana hasn't really drifted at all actually, a small bit perhaps due to her not actually being there last week, but I think this is a bit of an exaggeration...Eoghan is still third favourite behind Diana & Alexandra...

I would actually rather Daniel won then him, at least he can sing in tune, has a personality and isn't annoying lol. If this kid wins, tis the end of the X Factor, he is worse then Leon, by miles.
