There was 0.5% difference in the votes, which means that Science must have got 50.25% of the vote and Orlaith must have got 49.75%. I wonder how many votes that half percent equates to.

The people who voted for Science in the main weren't bothered about keeping Orlaith in I don't think (although she will almost certainly think they were), it was more a case of wanting Science out. This vote was all about Science, not Orlaith.

I shan't bother watching again. It was getting boring anyway, it's going to be rubbish now I think. Although I bear no malice whatsoever to Orlaith (or any of the housemates for that matter), I don't particularly want to watch scenes of her fiddling with her boobs and putting make up on, which seems to be the extent of her entertainment value.

I'm also surprised that so many people went off Science - who have liked him from the beginning - based on a couple of days worth of footage. He didn't behave so well in the last week (although there was severe provocation there from certain other housemates) but I based my opinion of him over the whole of the time he has been in the house. As SMC said, people are very fickle.

Yep last week Science was one of the favs but people make rash decisions and vote on one or twp incidents, I stay loyal to my fav through the good and bad times and overall Science was a better housemate who should not have gone.

People that complained about Science should realise that at least he provoked a reaction inside of you instead of that blank canvas Orlaith, who will you have to moan about when the people you find annoying are gone? We just get left with a house full of bores that will not do anything of note and then you will have nothing to say and ultimatley you will get bored then moan that it's boring. Don't people want entertainment anymore?

I felt exactly the same when everyone was slagging off Maxwell, calling him everything under the sun. Then he got evicted, i moved on.

I am so upset...im not going to watch it anymore. The most annoying thing is that Orlaith beat Science by half a % yes half a %!!!! GRRRRR!

yeah its so annoying when peoples fave housemates get evicted and they say "omg there gone i can't watch it anymore!" GET OVER IT!

Yeah, but consider entertainment values:

Orlaith does nothing whatsoever to be interesting, whereas Science was original, and argued, which is a hell of a lot more than Orlaith does.

science wasnt my favorite but he was the only entertainer left in the house any way i said this yesterday the british public say big brother is boring newsflash you make it boring by voting out all the wicked housemates this year has now offical turned in to big brother 4 well done public
