It was a scab, he did it, he thought it was hilarious. He admitted it to Davina.
He is only back peddling because he has realised that the public are grossed out.
Science would have every reason to be furious. It was a filthy, nasty and cowardly act.
Typical Maxwell behaviour in fact.
Interestingly, according to this weeks 'HEAT' Ricky Gervais has a very similar view to myself on Maxwell as a bully and a coward.
