X FACTOR heart-throb Eoghan Quigg faces a backlash from girl fans over an alleged fling with show rival Diana Vickers.

The 16-year-old from Northern Ireland has been accused of having a secret romance with Diana, 17.

And some of his fans are furious.

One jealous fan posted her views on an internet message board.

She wrote: "I'm totally speechless about Eoghan pulling that skanky Diana. He's embarrassed himself and lost my vote."

Another wrote: "I actually cried when I saw that story about Eoghan and Diana.
"She has a boyfriend.

He should wait until he comes out and get with me instead."

Eoghan and Diana had claimed to be "best friends" but were allegedly caught canoodling at the finalists' house in London.

Eoghan has denied the claims.

He said: "I know there has been speculation about us.

"She's the most attractive girl in the house for me but there isn't anything like that going on.

"She's my best friend in the competition."

Eoghan, who was the bookies' favourite, has now slipped to second favourite behind Diana.

To be honest, I don't even think he's "cute". Normally I could see why someone is attractive to others, but in his case I just think he's odd looking.
