Default Who should have mentored who?

Now we're at a late stage in the competition, which judge do you think should have mentored which category? or do you think the current arrangement works well?

I think:

Cheryl: Groups
Simon: Girls
Dannii: Boys
Louis: Over 25's

I think Simon is the only decent mentor to be honest.

Cheryl does will with her girls. She picks good songs for them every week and supports them very well throughout the competition.

She's ok I suppose. Danni and Louis are useless though.

Totally agree. Hopefully it'll work out that way next year.

Yeah, Dannii doesn't have a clue. She dropped a good act in favour of Daniel and then gave him false hope throughout his time on the show.

Louis is no better, he was awful with Girlband and Bad Lashes. He only ever has time for his boy bands.

Quite a few people keep saying that they'd like to see Sharon Osbourne back on the panel. She was good entertainment, but a pretty bad mentor. None of her acts did very well last year.

Do you seriously believe that the mentors actually pick their final three? If you do then lmao.

I reckon it should have been;
Cheryl; Girls
Dannii; Groups
Louis; Boys
Simon; Overs

Well they have a pretty good say in who their final three is. Any good mentor would have objected to having Daniel in their category.

Lmao, it's not up to them, it's up to the producers and big sob story = more popularity = more votes = more money.

Maybe, but there were a few other sob stories which didn't get through to the finals.

It doesnt really matter tbh. Simon is the best mentor and Cheryl is proving very able too. Her song choices have been brilliiant, which leads me to think she's getting help. Example - I'm surprised that she listens to Billie Holiday and has heard of the song 'God bless the Child'? Its a fairly obscure track. I wonder who actually picked that song for Laura. I doubt it was Cheryl.

No doubt that Dannii was given the best category last year, as the newcomer, and likewise cheryl this year. There were 5 girls out of the 6 who would have had a shot at making it this far.........I'm struggling to find anyone other than Suzie in the over25's, and the 'family group' in louis' category who might have raised the bar, otherwise.

It would have been far more interesting if Cheryl had been given the over 25's, or the Groups......and far more even!!
